Spirit of Holistic Education site - HOME PAGE SunWALK - SiteMap
Welcome!
NB1 This SunWALK site - that you are in - is now
an integral part within
the Spirit of Holistic Education site.
The SiteMap of the new ‘enveloping site’
Spirit of Holistic Education is here
This particular page of the site that you are now in was
the original home page of the SunWALK site.
To go to the material that was on the old home page -
i.e the 'questions' to help articulate your own
model of education’ - go here.
NB2 The buttons at the top of this page are all
part of the original SunWALK site
and can be used for 'internal' navigation -
i.e. if you want to navigate from within this original
SunWALK site you can also use this SiteMap -
SiteMap for this original SunWALK site that you are now in
If you want to go and navigate from within the new site
go to the Spirit of Holistic Education SiteMap here
I am currently simplifying and tidying up the 30 sections
of the SunWALK site.
One consequence is that some of the Sections, or sub-sections,
will for a time be 'Free'
NB3 The News and my blog is now at
The two sites - now integrated - are usually
updated on a daily basis.
Enjoy!

365 moments
I offer a daily thought and image inspired by 1) the '365 books' of Danielle and Olivier Föllmi
2) by John O'Donohue's book Beauty: the invisible embrace and
3) the photography of Jari Silomaki (SEE http://spiritofholisticeducation.org.uk/content/view/52/65/ )
"Not a day goes by in which we don't, for an instant, live in paradise." Jorge Luis Borges
"Every life is braided with luminous moments." John O'Donohue
‘Since 2001 I have taken a landscape photograph every day. I connect these photographs to important personal
and world political events…. The starting point of this work was that world events, personal events and weather will repeat
themselves and merge into one continuum……. On the other hand, linking
landscape and news concretises how we are in contact with world events through the media. Everything is brought up close, which also means that events that are truly nearby are no longer close.’
Jari Silomaki, photographer (Finland)
(SEE http://spiritofholisticeducation.org.uk/content/view/52/65/ )
In my 365 series (to be developed) sometimes it is world or personal events, sometimes it is the sense of the eternal or transcendent or paradisical that registers. Photographs that are not otherwise credited are my own.
